Island Lake in the
Ruby Mountains
Island Lake is at an elevation of 9,800 feet. The lakes size is 7.5 acres, and it is 22 feet deep and as you can see it really does have an island. This is one of the easiest lakes to walk to because the trail is in really good condition and it is only two miles from the trail head to the lake. (trail Info here)
